Abstract

The objective of this article is to discuss the use of enemy military insignia or uniforms during armed conflict and the regulation of humanitarian law concerning this issue. The article addresses both written and customary law aspects. It also examines situations in which such conduct is permissible or prohibited. The author explains the potential legal consequences that combatants may face when employing this method of warfare. The criminalization of such actions is analyzed within the framework of international law as well as domestic legal systems.
