Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Historica is a magazine edited since 1945. Initially it was published as Scientific Papers of the University of Lodz, Series I, Humanities and Social Sciences. In 1975 it changed the title to Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Scientific Papers of the University of Lodz, Series I, Humanities and Social Sciences. Then an additional term Folia Historica for all historical works was used for the first time as well. All issues of the periodical have been published under the current title since 1980. Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Historica publishes scientific articles concerning history of Poland and universal history from antiquity to modern times.
Z radością informujemy, że zakończył się proces oceny naszego periodyku w bazie Index Copernicus. "Folia Historica" zanotowała znaczący awans, potwierdzając tym samym swoją wysoką pozycję wśród czasopism historycznych.
Aktualny wskaźnik ICV czasopisma wynosi 115.25 (ICV 2023: 91.50).
