Professor Zofia Wysokińska appointed as EC expert in the Horizon Europe

Prof. Zofia Wysokińska, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Comparative Economic Research. Central and Eastern Europe", has been recognized for her high level of expertise and experience and her knowledge of English. The European Commission appoints independent, impartial experts whose task is to evaluate project proposals and to monitor projects financed from EU funds. Congratulations!

Prof. Zofia Wysokińska from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz is an expert of the European Research Executive Agency (REA) in the evaluation of applications for EU-funded projects under the Horizon Europe program, which is the largest research program in the world. Strengthening research and innovation is a key objective of the European Green Deal Strategy for the new decade. This strategy supports inter alia the mitigation of the negative climate changes, helps achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and stimulates the European Union's international competitiveness and economic growth.
