Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie, w jaki sposób działania nakierowane na rozwiązywanie problemu starzejącego się społeczeństwa wpływają na politykę społeczną Japonii, Korei Południowej, Tajwanu oraz Singapuru. W tekście opisany jest proces starzenia się azjatyckich społeczeństw oraz historia rozwoju tamtejszej polityki społecznej od końca XIX wieku. W końcowej części artykułu mowa o tym, w jakim stopniu państwa Azji Wschodniej odeszły, na skutek procesu starzenia się społeczeństw, od realizacji charakterystycznego dla tego regionu konserwatywnego modelu polityki społecznej.Pobrania
