Abstract

This article is the second part of the series concerning methodology of odontological studies. Certain problems concerning measurable traits of the teeth are presented here. Firstly, all these conditions which can modify tooth size, like numbers of teeth and their position, are presented. Then some useful techniques for measuring tecth are described with special emphasis on the Biggerstaff's method as the most complete one. Finally, some propositions for basic teeth indices are given.
