Abstract

The aim of this article is to present aspects of a theatrical co-operation between Poland and China, in particular the reception in the Middle Kingdom of characters such as Jerzy Grotowski and Krystian Lupa.

Artur Duda, Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu, Katedra Kulturoznawstwa

Duda Artur – assistant professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University Department of Cultural Studies. Theatrologist and performance scholar interested in Polish, Lithuanian and German theater, as well as performance studies. He is the author of the books Teatr realności (2006), Alchemia teatru (2010), Performans na żywo jako medium i obiekt mediatyzacji (2011). He regularly contributes articles to “Pamiętnik Teatralny” and the magazine “Teatr.”
