Artykuł dotyczy współczesnych tendencji w polityce lokalizacyjnej systemów hotelowych działających w skali międzynarodowej. Poza przedstawieniem jej ogólnych uwarunkowań, szerzej omówiono politykę lokalizacyjną ośmiu wybranych łańcuchów i sieci, interpretując ją z punktu widzenia teorii dyfuzji innowacji.
