Problem Polish-Ukrainian relations on the geopolitical conceptions of Polish prometheizm, which presented on the newspaper pages in 30th years XX Century

Abstract

The article is about main ideas publicisticals speeches of promethetors, which devoted of that time Polish-Ukrainian relations problem and published on the newspaper pages, which was a rostrum of polish prometheizm. The idea of state power and “jagellonizm” was their fundamental conceptions. The author analyses the publications of polish promethetors on the columns of “Bunt Młodych” i “Biuletyn Polsko-Ukraiński”, which presented the ways for solving Ukrainian problem in 30^th years in Poland. She looks steps of psychological, cultural and political contents. The publicists underlined the importance of leading self-government and take into account the national interests of Ukrainian people in inland politic of country. They were convinced of success-full deciding of Ukrainian question because it give them safety from east. The did accent on the main point of concept of political conjuncture, stereotypes of mass consciousness, national interests, “mission on the East”.

The main attention grand to publicistic writing of V. Bochkovski, who is a specialist of east problems, who looks the polish national interests in the contests of east-west or Germany – Russia and he motivated political, economical and cultural use of Polish-Ukrainian union. Also valued the main thesis of his conceptions, thesis of strategical and tactical character, the payment of publicist to the development of Polish-Ukrainian dialogue. The article indicates the influence by authority of J. Pilsudskij on the points of view promethetor’s.

The article also analyses publisictic speeches of another authors – Leon Vasylevski, Adolf and Alexandr Bochenski, Stanislav Losj, Konstant Symonolevych, Piotr Dunin-Borkovski etc. Also the article gives short biographical information about K. Symonolevych, which is the least popular polish publicists, and come out on the pages of newspaper “Biuletyn Polsko-Ukraiński”. The author analyses informatical, opinionical and historical meaning of this publications.
