Abstract

The recent book by Elżbieta Starek and Grzegorz Kotłowski concerns Latin inscriptions collected in Archcathedral Basilica in Frombork. The Authors present Polish translations of all inscriptions accompanied by the extensive commentary and provide the ample information on historical background.

Barbara Hartleb-Kropidło, Uniwersytet Wrocławski, Instytut Studiów Klasycznych, Śródziemnomorskich i Orientalnych

dr Barbara Hartleb-Kropidło (Uniwersytet Wrocławski) – is a lecturer in the Institute of Classical, Mediterranean and Oriental Studies, University of Wroclaw. Her main areas of interests are archaic Roman poetry, especially drama, ancient religions and cults of Italy and Rome. Her current research is concerned with the Roman cult of Lares.
