  • Collectanea Philologica in Web of Science

    2025-10-02

We are proud to announce that Collectanea Philologica has been selected for inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection.

Web of Science is a widely recognised scientific database, developed and maintained by Clarivate Analytics. Indexation in this database is a significant distinction for scholarly journals for several reasons:

Prestige – Inclusion confirms that the journal meets recognised scholarly standards, thereby attracting the attention of a broad readership and research community.

International visibility – Thanks to Web of Science indexation, journals become more easily accessible to the international scientific community, which broadens their reach and influence.

Citation analysis – The database enables comprehensive citation analysis, a key tool for assessing the impact of scientific articles and journals.

The application process for Web of Science indexation is highly selective and requires considerable effort. For scholarly journals, however, it is an important step towards recognition and enhanced standing within the academic community.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the Editorial Team and to all contributing Authors of Collectanea Philologica on this important achievement.
