Her research area is Renaissance English Literature, with a particular focus on Shakespeare’s last plays. She is the author of a monograph on Shakespeare: Reconsidering Shakespeare’s “Lateness”: Studies in the Last Plays (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2015).

Tianhu Hao (PhD, Columbia) is a Changjiang Distinguished Young Scholar, professor of English and comparative literature, director of the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (CMRS), and assistant dean in the School of International Studies, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He has published a Chinese monograph entitled “Hesperides, or the Muses’ Garden”: A Study of an Early Modern English Commonplace Book (2014) and over 30 Chinese or English journal articles. His translations include that of David Kastan’s Shakespeare and the Book and he serves as a book review editor for Multicultural Shakespeare.

PhD student in the School of International Studies, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. The subject of her dissertation is the fourteenthcentury poem Confessio Amantis by John Gower. She is interested in the literary culture of late medieval England, and has published a Chinese article on the reformative theme in Piers Plowman.
