“What about the strange charm?” On motif of the old photographs in present Polish poetry

Abstract

The charm of the old photographs makes them the frequent motif of poetry. The article focuses on variants of this motif and its meanings. Above all, the old photographs evoke the problem of memory, its power and defects.
