Abstrakt

This review is a guidebook to private literary genres, created by the Nike Prize winner, a distinguished poet, critic, and literary interpreter of Stanisław Barańczak's literature. The genres always have their equivalents, for example, palindrome, anagram, and limerick. (In Barańczak’s version, they turn into surprising creations, causing a smile on the reader’s face.) We can find all of them in the book Pegaz zdębiał, published by PULS. The author reviews humorous genres while simultaneously reviewing the book. Her work is an encouragement to read the book and have fun, which even acknowledged and serious writers don’t avoid.
