The article presents the editor’s activity of “Library of Comments of Stanisław Wyspianski’s Works”, established in 1938 by “ Polish Library” Publishing Institute.
The subject of the study are comments to four dramas of Stanisław Wyspiański: Varsovian, Boleslaus the Brave, The Judges and The Wedding.
The authors of the comments: Juliusz Saloni, Janina Kulczycka-Saloni, Jan Durr and Leon Płoszewski have prepared separate slight editions consisting of interpretations and foot-notes without texts of the analysed dramas intended especially for secondary-school pupils.
