A Regional Model of Tourism in Slovakia

Autor w artykule przedstawia model regionalny turystyki Słowacji, który składa się z ośrodków, osi wzrostu oraz powierzchni (stref, regionów węzłowych). Na obszarze Słowacji występują cztery podstawowe typy ośrodków turystyki (ośrodki wypoczynkowe całoroczne, ośrodki wypoczynkowe sezonowe, uzdrowiska oraz miejskie ośrodki turystyki), trzy osie wzrostu, trzy strefy (jądrowa strefa turystyczna, przejściowa strefa turystyczna, peryferyjna strefa turystyczna) oraz regiony węzłowe, reprezentowane przez zaplecza rekreacyjne miast, których liczba mieszkańców jest większa niż 50 tyś.
