Abstract

The article deals with the role of participles in the art texts by T. Tolstaya. Examples of the use of active and passive participles in a variety of syntactic constructions are given. Particles are also described as part of speech figures. Use of participles as the mean of creation of art image in art stories of T. Tolstaya is pointed out.
