O ile transhumanizm postrzegać można jako konsekwencję zakwestionowania przez odkrycia naukowe i postęp technologiczny dominujących, tradycyjnych wyobrażeń o kondycji ludzkiej, o tyle zagadnienia antropologiczne należałoby uznać za jeden z jego centralnych wątków. W tym kontekście, próbuję w artykule odpowiedzieć na pytanie o powody, dla których zagadnienia te nie doczekały się w transhumanistycznym dyskursie pełniejszej i systematycznej ekspozycji.
